This page contains a montage of popular design elements. The image above is ordered around a complementary color scheme of blue and orange. The central background is a spoked radial using a gradient to give it depth. On the right is the recently popular theme of abstract floral design, and on the left are glowing swoops. Design elements use layer effects, transparency and gradient fades. The cube on the left and the central sphere are 3D objects with texture mapped patterns applied. Objects sitting on the ground show both reflections and double cast shadows. The central text includes a 3D extrusion effect. Finally the sphere floating on the right emulates glass or some other equally transparent material. The composition was then framed in a beveled border.

I designed the grungy floral pattern on the left to use as a background in my interactive PDF portfolio. I then made a number of color variations to delineate the chapters.
